Midweek Magnolias - Valentine's or Romance

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I am so glad to be sharing another DT card for the Midweek MagnoliasOur new challenge this fortnight is...

Valentine’s/Romance

Share some of your “Love” theme projects with us for a chance to win a Mystery Prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “I Give You My Heart Tilda Duo” from the Lovely Duo collection. I used some brand new papers from Pebbles "We Go Together" collection which are perfect for St. Valentine’s Day. The color palette is pink, muted red, gray, and aqua which is one of my favorite color combos for a "LOVE" theme. I used up some of my old red Bazzill Bling card stock and fabulous New Aqua American Crafts card stock.

The new Oh-La-La DooHickey Die Club Kit works marvelously with my theme and all the pretty flowers from Magnolia’s new collection adds to the luscious design.

Magnolia-licious - Love is in the Air

Hello, Magnolia Friends. Today is Team B’s turn to share some inspiration for the current challenge…

*****LOVE IS IN THE AIR*****

This challenge will run until January 26th.

For my DT project I've chosen a new stamp from the Lovely Duo collection called “You are my Valentine Tilda.” Each character stamp in this collection is accompanied by a sweet sentiment stamp.

My designer papers are from Pion Design’s My Precious Daughter collection.  I love the pretty pink papers and love theme design. They are so easy to dress with a vintage shabby chic style as I've done here. I used The Paper Company ivory card stock for my base.

I colored Tilda with Copics to coordinate with my papers. I added a bit of glitter bling with Stickles to Tilda’s wings and the hearts I stamped randomly around the frame.

The new Oh-La-La DooHickey Die Club kit is perfect for a Valentine’s theme card. I cut several of them for this card which include the Eiffel Tower, Heart Flourish and Love Key all covered with Embossing Powder for that metallic effect.

Here’s a close-up of Tilda.

New Stash - Midweek Magnolias

Happy New Year, Friends! I am finally back to crafting after such a nice long break for the Holidays. The Midweek Magnolias are looking forward to a creative year and I hope you are too.

We have a new challenge which is our first of 2015 and we are showing off our...

New Stash!

Share some of your new crafty tools and supplies for a chance to win a Mystery Prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “Christmas Kitchen Tilda” from the Waiting for Christmas collection. I used some new papers from Maja Designs and colored Tilda with Copics to coordinate with my embellishments.

This Magnolia image can be used for just about any type of card as she is so versatile. This is a Birthday card that I made for my granddaughter, Isabel, who celebrates her 10th Birthday in a couple weeks.

I used new die cuts from the Oh-La-La DooHickey Club Kit collection as well as some fabulous Joy Crafts dies which create the perfect Birthday theme.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. Have a great week.
