Paper Nest Dolls - January Release

Hello, Friends! I have a new GDT card to share with you for the Paper Nest Dolls.

These new stamps are from the January 10 release. You can see them all here.

My card features “Teddy Bear Emma.” She is adorable with her little pink teddy hat. I colored Emma with Copics and a light blue shaded background. I sprinkled Fran-tage Powder Blue Color Fragments around the card for a bit of added texture.

My designer papers are from Doodlebug Design paired with American Crafts cardstock. I used some of my new La-La-Land dies to create my flowers that are colored with Distress inks. I created a sentiment on my PC then foiled it with my Heidi Swapp Minc machine.

Here’s a close up of Emma.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll be back later this week with something new for Magnolia-licious…

Magnolia-licious - Winter Theme or Anything Goes

Hello, Magnolia Friends. We are so happy to be back to crafting after our long Holiday break.

For our first challenge of the year we want to see creations with a…

*****Winter Theme or Anything Goes*****

You have until January 25 to join in for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious.

My card features “Tilda with Little Snowy” from the 2015 A Lovely Christmas collection. I used lots of new products on my card. I colored Tilda with Copics and gave her a layered backdrop using Lawn Fawn die cuts for the snow landscape and cloud dies for inking in my sky. The frame and fir tree is from Top Dog Dies.

My designer papers are Maja Designs with some lace that I cut to create a top and bottom border.

My snowflakes are a couple of Silhouette 3D cut files layered with Magnolia and Memory Box glittered snowflake dies and topped with some pretty bling.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

Magnolia-licious is now offering a $20 gift certificate for the random winner of our challenge.

Have a great week. We’ll see you back here soon.

Midweek Magnolias - New Crafty Stash #129

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

And Happy 2016!!! The Midweek Magnolias are back for another year of Magnolia inspiration. Our first challenge of the year is…

“New Crafty Stash”

Join us for the challenge following the theme and our roolz and you may have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

My new crafty stash starts with new stamps from Magnolia. This is “Tilda with Star Diadem” from the 2016 “A Touch of Love Collection.” I also used some of the accessory stamps on a heart shaped doily then dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

I used a new Lawn Fawn stitched frame die cut for Tilda and a cute new heart with wings charm. I colored Tilda with Copics, no-line style. I haven’t used this technique for a while and thought I would start the New Year with something different.

Here is a close up of Tilda. Isn’t she adorable?!?

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge.

The Paper Nest Dolls 3rd Birthday

Happy New Year, Friends!

The Paper Nest is celebrating its 3rd Birthday today! So the DT decided to create some festive cards for the occasion. I am still guesting for the team so I offered to make a card with this brand new stamp!

Her name is Ellie with Candle. She is perfect for a Birthday card. I just love her cute little party dress.

I used some designer papers from Doodlebug Design paired with Bazzill cardstock. I’ve not made a front panel sidestep card for years and thought I would start the New Year with something different.

I used some new dies from Lawn Fawn and some Magnolia dies from the Celebration DooHickey Club kit.

Here is a closer shot of the foiled sentiment. I love my new Heidi Swapp Minc machine. You’ll see a lot more foiled elements on my cards this year.

Here’s a close up of Ellie colored with Copics.

Come join us at the PND 3rd Birthday FB event for a chance to win a prize package, see the new stamps and inspiration from the DT.
