Midweek Magnolias - Anything Goes

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I’m sharing my Midway Reminder DT card for our “Anything Goes with a Magnolia Image” challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

You have one more week to make a card or project to join in the challenge. Follow our rules and you will have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “Dancing Tilda in Italy” from the “Little Italy” collection. I practiced on my Distress Ink water coloring last week and I think Tilda turned out great. I really enjoy water color with DIs when I have time and it is so relaxing!!! Coloring with Copics is much quicker with only one layer to color; I can have an image done in about 30 minutes. Water coloring takes me 3-5 times as long because I tend to let it dry completely before adding additional layers.

My DPs for this card are from Pion Design paired with Bazzill cardstock. Since this cutie is dancing I embellished my card with some musical score dies from Memory Box. I love how it turned out.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

I hope my project inspires you to join us for the challenge. Have a fabulous week.

Magnolia-licious - Green, Gold or Pink

Hello, Magnolia Friends. Today we have a brand new challenge at Magnolia-licious and this time we want to see your cards/projects that are created with “Green, Gold or Pink” colors. You can used any or all of these colors as long as they are the most prominent colors of your project.

You have until March 7 to join in for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious store.

My card features “Sweetness Angel Tilda” from the “A Touch of Love” collection. I used some pink and green designer papers from “Coffee in the Arbour” by Maja Design paired with Bazzill cardstock. I colored Tilda with Copics and added some pretty Ranger Stickles to her wings.

My card shape was cut with a Magnolia Doohickey die from the Vintage Box First Edition. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut all of my rolled roses and the outer mat of the card shape. I added a pretty pink bow with silky crush ribbon that I got from The Ribbon Girl and finished it off with a Lily of the Valley sentiment.

Here’s a close-up of Tilda.

Magnolia-licious is now offering a $20 gift certificate for the random winner of our challenge.

Have a great week. I’ll be back again tomorrow with another beautiful Magnolia card.

February GDT - Paper Nest Dolls

Hello, Friends! I have a new GDT card to share with you for the Paper Nest Dolls.

These new stamps were released on February 10 last week. You can see them all here.

My card features “Strawberry Emma.” I colored Emma with Copics and cut her out with my Silhouette Cameo PixScan. I love this tool. It is so easy to use. I just position the colored image on the PixScan mat, take a photo with my iPhone and transfer it to my PC. Then I open it in my Design Studio, create an outer edge with my preferred settings and cut. It is so simple.

My designer papers are from Maja Design “Life in the Country” collection. These papers have some darling strawberry pattern papers that are perfect for Emma and my strawberry patch theme. I used some of my new La-La-Land Club Kit Strawberry Blossoms dies to create my flowers in Emma’s strawberry patch. The 3D strawberries were made with my Magnolia DooHickey die.

Here’s a close up of Emma.

Thanks for stopping by today…I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

My card features “Miss You Tilda” from the A Touch of Love collection. I colored Tilda with Copics and added a bit of Ranger Stickles to her wings, hearts and halo. My designer papers are from Authentique paired with Bazzill cardstock.

Magnolia-licious - Bingo or Anything Goes

Hello, Magnolia Friends. Today we have a brand new challenge at Magnolia-licious and this time you have a choice to enter the “Bingo or Anything Goes” challenge.

You have until February 22 to join in for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious store.

My card features “Cloudy Love Tilda” from the A Touch of Love collection 2016.

I chose the left vertical and bottom horizontal bingo plays using pearls, lace, 3 pattern papers, 2 stamps and charms.

My papers are from Maja Designs Summer Crush collection and Bazzill cardstock. I have some fabulous cloud dies so I took advantage of the opportunity to use several of them along with a fancy sun. Doesn’t Tilda make the cutest angel? She is adorable.

Here’s a close-up of Tilda colored with Copics and Glamour Dust sprinkled on her wings and cloud.

Magnolia-licious is now offering a $20 gift certificate for the random winner of our challenge.

Have a great week. We’ll see you back here soon.

Magnolia-licious - Love and/or Hearts

Hello, Magnolia Friends. I cannot believe February is already here! Today I bring you a reminder to enter the Magnolia-licious “Love and/or Hearts” challenge.

You have until February 8 to join in for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious.

My card features “Cupid Angel Tilda” from the A Touch of Love collection 2016. I love the new Authentique Designer Papers I got from the Scrapbook Expo here in Denver this past October. I attend every year to see the latest in products and craft design. I would love to go to CHA as I am a member but there always seems to be something that keeps me at home.

I used some of my favorite die cuts for a St. Valentine’s Day theme from La-La-Land, Magnolia and Top Dogs Dies.

I had fun layering several lace trims from LLC, The Ribbon Girl and the Scrapbook Expo.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.
